Google Street View has a massive update

Google announced on Thursday what the company terms the "biggest ever update" to its popular and controversial Street View map imagery Web-based service.

Google has doubled the number of Street View special collections and has updated imagery of more than 250,000 miles of roads, the company said in a blog post.

Street View coverage has been broadened in 11 countries, including the U.S., Sweden, the U.K., Italy and Singapore, and special collections have been launched for South Africa, Japan, Spain, France, Brazil, Mexico and other countries.

Secure your Dropbox with Two-Factor Authentification

I love Dropbox, but I do not like that it is so simple to access on your computer and devices.  Well, seems Dropbox has thought about that as well and provides a solution.  Check out the video from Revision3

Send Sensitive Info in an email - This message will self-destruct...

Ever want a safe, electronic way to transmit sensitive information?  Enter OneShar.es, which lets you create a secure, self-destructing message for one person.  How?  Go to onshar.es, click on the blue Create One Now Button, and then type or paste the information you want to share.  You can set the message to "self-destruct" (delete itself) automatically if the recipient has not viewed it within the designated time you select (choices are 30 minutes to 3 days).  In short, once the message has been opened, it is set to self-destruct.  Wow, your Mission Impossible moment.

How to scam a scammer

This is a delightfully funny article I found recently on how a phone scammer got scammed by his victim.  The now infamous "Microsoft Support Team" scammers call random people pretending to offer to fix your computer (how do they know it's broke?).  Unfortunately, they called the wrong person and a couple of HOURS later......just take a read....hysterical

The Firefox update I've been waiting for....hopefully

Mozilla has issued an update for Firefox 16.  This update claims that it will address the memory bug that is allegedly been the cause of the random crashes, at least on my computer.  I hope so, Firefox is almost unusable at this point because of the problem.  Update now and see what happens!
