How to Backup your computer online for free

Refurbished Laptops and Computers

Despite what salespersons will tell you, getting the latest and fastest computer is not always necessary.  For what most users do with computers, any computer less than 3 years old can handle the load.  The hard part is where do you find a reliable used computer.  That is my job.  All systems that I sell have a 3 month gaurantee.  Any problems you may have are addressed immediately and for free during that period.  All systems are sold with the latest software.  No Pentium II and III systems.  All systems sold are capable of running Windows 7 reliably.  Recent statistics released showed that for the first quarter of 2011, PC sales are down over 10%.  The biggest factor in this decline is the realization from the public that their current computer is fine and does the job.  If you are on a tight budget, I can help you update to a more current desktop or laptop at a fraction of the cost of a new system.  For more information, contact me and we can discuss your needs and review your options.

Typical laptops will cost between $250-$300 depending on what is available at the time of your purchase.   It may be a little more if you want more power in your system, it may be less if you do not need as much.  Desktops will vary between $150-$300, again, depending on your hardware requests/requirements.  All systems come with a legal copy of Windows installed, all necessary updates and Anti-virus and malware protection software.

Keep in mind, when buying any used laptop, you cannot expect to get a battery in new condition.  Expect to replace the battery within a year or so of getting the laptop.  Remember, the laptop is used, the battery is as well.  Even new batteries have a life expectancy of about 2 years, so when you buy one used, that time is shortened.  Additionally, expect to replace the AC Adapter.  The wear and tear on the plugs quite simply, wears them out.  They develop shorts or die outright.  Fortunately, third party replacement cords can be purchased for as little as $10 online.
