Technology stinks when it is considered old...

Here I am, I need to find something to do with two old iPhones.  I know I should sell it to Gazelle, but have a feeling deep down that I might need it someday.  I also have an old Griffin Evolve (wireless iPhone Speakers), but this only works with the 1st and 2nd generation iPhone, so essentially worthless.  Although you can attach it to your TV to have wireless TV speakers.  Finally, my 1st generation Drobo is still going strong, but my Droboshare is dead.  Of course, it is no longer supported, so I am out of luck again.  So what do you do with dead technology?  Help!
